Once a customer, always a friend!
Our Mission Is Your Statement!
The task of an interior designer is to gain insight into their clients vision and values.
To form a personal connection of trust and achieve a friendship and commitment to serving all their needs. That's even goals and staying within a budget that reflects the client's wishes.
Once the comfort level is achieved the process should be honest, and totally enjoyable.
The selections of materials, color scheme, preparation of furnishings and the many details throughout the construction.
The architect, builder and subs should all be on a first name basis. There should be complete to unity and communication.
Lighting, hardware, stone work, tile, carpeting, and the seamless and overall vision. Our client's home should reflect their personality and their soul. The family and what priorities are needed.
Instinctively I find someone who is at home in jeans and t-shirt, and always rugged leather jacket is not going to want formality and lots of tinsel.
I personally connect with the outdoors-man or woman who are not pretentious, who are fun, lighthearted and looks at life as a challenge. Leather, and hand hewn craftsmen with unique skills are my best friends. Masons, carpenters and those who get their hands dirty. I'm at home with authentic people.
Having a unique history with multiracial heritage and growing up in the East Coast has provided me with great insight and a non-judgmental personality. I accept everyone I deal with respect and dignity.
I am passionate about being unique, creating homes with personality. Our motto "once a customer, always a friend" is a mantra and our mission.
We make lifelong friends, and just happened to earn a living doing just that. We also provide a livelihood to many of our contractors, and subs who are dedicated to perfection and take pride in what they create with their hands and the inventive spirit they share.
We are in our 54th year of ownership and bringing beauty, durability, and handcrafted products into homes. Of those who respect the best, as a mother of 4, as a grandmother of 8 and with 53 years with the best friend. We relish the impact we make in people's lives, the furnishings and warmth our designs reflect. Homes that are welcoming to your friends and family filled with memorabilia, and their collectibles are respected and displayed. Homes that are livable and lovable.
Formality is rarely comfortable, and when you're at the lake, or in the cities, share the delicate and private spaces. When friends enter the room it should say come in and put your feet up and anything can be touched, and shared. No one wants to live in a museum, or wear a black tie.
